WEIGHT LOSS

Most people who have tried to lose weight, have been on numerous ‘diets’ …this diet…that diet. And whilst it may have achieved some short term benefits, very often after your target weight has been achieved, people inevitably go back to their old eating habits …and before they know it, they’re packing on the pounds again. Needless to say this yo-yoing between success and failure can be very draining and demoralising, and often makes dieters feel like they are ‘fighting a losing battle with themselves’.

The truth is, that most people overeat to satisfy deeper emotional needs, and such eating habits then become hard-wired into your sub-conscious as your normal behaviour. And thus every time you feel bored or stressed or upset, you reach out for that favourite snack or treat, or overeat more than you need. And then you beat yourself up and feel bad about it afterwards, and so the cycle continues.

However this does not have to be your scenario anymore, because with Hypnosis and NLP we can access the sub-conscious mind directly (the 90% of your mind) and assist you to change those destructive old eating habits, as well as resolving any emotional reasons for over-eating (which is usually the case with most people)

We can also identify certain problem foods for you (eg cakes/chocolate/crisps/ etc), that you know you want to stop eating, and change the way you think about them, so that you no longer feel that desire for them anymore. You just won’t want it anymore, it simply won’t be an issue …and instead you might snack on something healthy instead, and feel good for doing so!

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL IT TAKE?

With weight loss, I usually recommend an absolute minimum of 3 sessions a week or so apart. However, it can take more if there are deeper underlying emotional issues that needs to be cleared and resolved. The good news is that you will start noticing changes within you right from the start.

I usually recommend we set a target of weight loss to be achieved over a certain time period (eg x kilos in x months or less). The reason for this, is to give your unconscious a clear goal and definite outcome, as well as to lose weight safely. Once you have achieved your initial target weight loss (which may be perfect you), you can then re-assess and see if you want to set a new target. Or if you’re happy with your current weight …then simply continue enjoying your new eating habits …and more importantly continue enjoying being your new weight, easily, effortlessly and naturally.
